Privacy, in plain words

What we store
Only what you type into an exchange: its name, budget, date and note; the names of the people taking part; who drew whom; wishlists and interests; anonymous messages; and a scrambled (hashed) version of each PIN. We never ask for emails, phone numbers or accounts.
How long
Every exchange is deleted automatically 60 days after its gift date, or 90 days after it was created if it has no date. Organizers can delete an exchange at any time from the organizer page.
Who can see what
Everyone with the group link can see the list of names. Only you, with your PIN, can see who you drew. Your Secret Santa can see your wishlist. Nobody, including the organizer, can see the full draw. Anonymous messages are visible only to the two people in that conversation.
Cookies and tracking
No advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your PIN session and organizer links on your own device so you don't have to retype them. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic request data (like IP address) to run and protect the site.
How QuickSanta is free
As an Amazon Associate, QuickSanta earns from qualifying purchases. When you follow a gift idea or wishlist link to Amazon and buy something, Amazon may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may set cookies on its own site under its own privacy policy. We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
Children
QuickSanta is meant to be set up by adults. For classrooms, teachers can use first names only. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children beyond a first name typed in by the organizer.
